During this stroll around the karmic dance floor, Jeff Veazey has practiced poverty law, served on commissions and boards, worked in publishing and TV, and indulged a life-long love of water by teaching and coaching swimming.
Stints as a substitute teacher, waiter/bartender, apple picker, pizza delivery guy, cashier at an all-night self-service gas station, and working construction in the heat of the Texas summers provided gainful employment, memories and lessons in humility.
To the surprise of everyone, considering the experiential wanderlust of his early years, Jeff has been married to his one and only true love for closing in on 30 years. They have three sons, all of whom still speak to them.
These days, Jeff writes, coaches swimming, spends exquisite hours with his wife, talks to dogs, and cheers from the parent section of the grandstand of life. When he looks in the mirror, he sees an older, wider version of a wild, young, rascal he used to know.
